What does a Township Trustee do?

  • Provides short-term, emergency assistance to help neighbors get back on their feet while protecting taxpayer dollars

  • Provides targeted, accountable relief to prevent homelessness and stabilize families

  • Ensures dependable fire protection in areas not served by cities or towns, protecting lives, homes, and farms

  • Maintains safe, orderly, and respectfully cared for township cemeteries

  • Manages township funds responsibly so essential services are delivered efficiently and property taxes are kept as low as possible

  • Serves as a locally elected official operating under strict state and advisory board oversight

What does a Convention Delegate do?

  • Represents Wells County Republican voters at the 2026 Indiana Republican Convention in June by voting to select Republican nominees for:

    • State Comptroller

    • Secretary of State

    • Treasurer of State
